Not a recent film, but “Pool Sharks”, a 1915 silent film starring W.C. Fields, is pretty funny with nice trick shots.
“Shooting Gallery”, starring Freddie Prinze Jr. and Ving Rhames, is the most recent (2005) film with pool as the main plot that I know of. It is not nearly as good as The Hustler or The Color Of Money, but I still liked it. You can watch it on Hulu.com for free.
