avalon2900 asked:

I have heard in some aspects, Billiards is not considered a sport. In some other aspects how ever, Billiards is considered a sport not so much of the minimal physical requirements, but because of the mental concentration it takes to play. I never see any big stories or links about billiards mentioned on sports sites or anything like that. What is the deal?

it takes skill, practice, balls are involved, you use lots of muscles and its very competitive. i would say it is a sport.

I would say that if you consider cheerleading a sport then yes pool is a sport.

Well, they show it on ESPN, oh wait, they also show Scrabble Championships. It doesn’t really matter if it is a sport or not, however, it does require mental toughness and lots of practice to be good. I would consider it to be a leisure activity.

Yeah, I think so…But making it a credible physical ed class is a little too much.

An anaerobic sport it would be an anaerobic sport though most people consider sports as aerobic activities but things like bowling fishing.
