Looking for a Poker and Billiards Hoodie?

December 26, 2007 By: admin Category: Billiards 1 Comment →

celestia_night asked:

I saw someone at the store wearing a black hoodie with Poker cards, I think it was a Royal Flush and 8-ball on it. My bf loves poker and billiards and has both tables at his place. He also loves wearing his hoodies and I know he’d love that as a V-day gift. Does anyone know where I can find that? I’ve been searching the net but to no avail. Maybe I’m not looking at the right places?

Pool table, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, regular table all-in-one?

December 15, 2007 By: admin Category: Billiards 6 Comments →

jMd… asked:

Ever heard of it? Whats it called? Where can I find one?
I swear I’ve seen it before, It’s 3 games in one, you just switch out the table tops. So basically you can have people over, sit at it & eat, when everyone’s done you remove that top, unfold either the Ping Pong (Table Tennis) or the Air Hockey table, if you don’t want either of those, take it off & play pool!
I’ve seen plenty of pool tables w/either Ping Pong or Air Hockey, or even a regular table insert, but (& I know I’ve seen em) I can’t find one that offers all of these options. I remember when I found em years ago, it was because they were called something special, & once you know what they are called & you type that in as a search, you’re golden.
I really appreciate the help figuring this out! Hope everyone’s having good holidays! Pray for Peace in the Middle East !
No, this isn’t a cheap plastic table, it’s actually a normal pool table, it just comes with various inserts to play the games I mentioned, whether its regulation size or bar sized, I don’t know that. I just know they are called spomething special….

Should I buy a pool table or a gaming pc?

December 14, 2007 By: admin Category: Billiards 8 Comments →

Nidwal asked:

I’m thinking about buying a pool table so life won’t be that boring. On the other hand I also want a gaming desktop but than you have to have high speed inter net to play games but it’s smaller and there are a lot of free games out there than a pool table. On the other, you don’t have to waste any monthly money on high speed internet and you have the pool table that you can put beer on top of. The gaming desk top is not a good place if you know what I mean.

Help me pick one… and give me some reasons why I should pick one of the above.

The price is about $1500 and the items above cost fairly the same. I’m so stuck cause I want both but no $$$.

LOUD Pool Table? Noise on Hardwood floors/open room?

December 07, 2007 By: admin Category: Billiards 5 Comments →

ifflbids asked:

Considering putting a pool table on hardwood floor next to staircase. Afraid noise will be too much for kids sleeping upstairs and others watching TV downstairs.

Anyone have a pool table on wood floors that can help? Should I just put it in the garage?

Pool table in the garage?

December 05, 2007 By: admin Category: Billiards 10 Comments →

naturalpilotba asked:

I am trying to talk my mum into getting a pool table for me, and to place it into the garage, we dont use the garage for anything apart from rubbish. The garage is 8 foot by 16 foot. So I think a table would fit.

However she says it needs heating a better flooring and to be damped proof. Does it really need all that work doing just for a pool table?
