Ivan asked:

Which cleaner should I use to polish my billiards balls? Will it get rid of the blue marks on my cue ball, cause from the chalk?

If they’re made from ivory, use 3 parts water, 1 part vinegar; wipe with a soft cloth and buff with a flannel cloth.

Car polish works extremely well. Use lightly abrasive types, rubbing compound would be a bit too abrasive.

In the pool hall I worked at we used liquid car polish in the automatic ball cleaner.
