I know that you can use your own balls to hit your ball into the pocket… but can you use the eight ball to hit your ball into the pocket? I have heard yes and no, so if you have a source that would be great!

      If the table is open after a break you can hit the 8 ball first in a combo, all other times it is considered a foul. The 8 ball can be used IN a combo at all times as long as its not hit first (minus the exception above)
